First thingy to share is my wordcount calendar. My hope is that, when I want to have a free day, I will motivate myself to reach that day's wordcount before slacking. So if I wanted Thursday night off, I'd have to do up to Thursday's total. Maybe it'll work? Who knows!

Here's the link to my Google Calendar for NaNo. The mathematical steps I took to reach these wordcounts was pretty slapdash. The original thought was 2,000 words every weekend day, 1600 every weekday, but then it tapers off towards the end sort of like how an athlete tapers training before a big event?

Also, here's a rough outline on what the novel is going to be. Right now it's fairly unintelligible. It will probably change very quickly in the days to come. My idea is that each little snippet represents a prompt for a day's worth of writing. But there's more than 30 snippets, which is good because I don't know if I can do 1600 words on every little thing.

So to summarize: This is a story about an Australian who is traveling in rustic Southeast Asia and is accused of murder when the death was actually an accident. Then stuff...happens? I will post the better, more coherent bits as they develop if anyone cares. It might get annoying, seeing my original crap slapped around LJ for an entire month. Feel free to tell me when it's charmingly acceptable to stop talking about it.

Also, Sweet Charity people, your fics are done! They are coming back from the beta tonight and should be polished and sent to you tomorrow evening. :)

Also: ate quinoa for the first time tonight. Looks kind of unappetizing, like squiggly bits of thread surrounding little pods of tapioca.

Also: lulz, House is the worst ladies' man ever. Worst. First date. In history.

Ah. Yeah, I figured that was what you meant. It was so weird to see it actually happen, like, on-screen and everything, after having read about it for years in almost every permutation, that it's still not really hitting me that it actually occurred, that he really kissed her. And did you see what Wilson said in the trailer for the next episode? Did you? *bounces*
