A Meme to Make You Feel Good

I want to start a meme, inspired by jane_hidell. THIS IS HOW I AM GOING TO START THIS MEME.

Pick a fandom that you participated in, perhaps in your wide-eyed youth *cough*college*cough* and share 3 of the gems of plotlines that you came up with for fanfics.

1. In a twist on the classic "Clark reveals his powers to Lex" plotline, Lex falls from a small height in such a way that Clark catches him using super speed. Totes queer. In a bad way.

2. In a bizarre continuation of the above, for no reason, Clark and Lex get captured by bandits and Lex prohibits Clark from using his powers to free them, because he's afraid of the bandits knowing Clark's secret. (How the bandits could have then hurt the Man of Steel is never explained.) So Lex undergoes a round of torture to keep Clark safe(?)

3. Clark and Lex get into a train crash and I guess Lex ends up adopting a kid that was in the crash too? Is that even legally possible?

4. In a Gundam AU, I recast all the ethnically diverse pilots in the 1950s deep south. (Why?) Um, I am so sorry to every Chinese person ever, for shoehorning Wufei in as a dry cleaner. And I'm sorry for making Trowa "some kind of Indian, I guess."

5. Heero adopts a kid without telling his husband Duo. Is that even legally possible?

OK, that was fun. And scary.

1. Bandom RPF. Long, involved self-insert stories (multiple) in which my friends and I met the members of Duran Duran and they were swept away by the beauty and intelligence of our 13-year-old selves. I always ended up with an OC manager, because Andy was the only one unclaimed by the rest of my friends and I didn't like him.

2. Star Trek: The Original Series. Character/actor crossover AU thing, where Leonard Nimoy is astonished to find one day that he bleeds green!!! (Yes, this is the least original idea ever.)

3. Damon/Affleck RPS. (This was actually only about four years ago, but it's weird enough to include here.) AU RPS. Ben is an android tester whose wife and daughter die in a plague. Ben doesn't get sick but is a carrier of the disease, so he's sent off to a sealed-dome Quarantine Town, where he refuses to leave his room, growing more and more isolated from the world. Ben's best friend Kevin (Smith, naturally) runs the android development company Ben used to work for, and says he's sending in a new version of android for Ben to test. That would be Matt, of course. He helps to heal Ben's wounded heart, and then there's some confusion as to whether Matt actually is an android or not, and there's conflicted emotional dialogue between them, and eventually they have emotionally conflicted sex. After which Ben decides it doesn't matter whether Matt's an android or not, and they decide to live happily ever after and become more integrated, active members of Quarantine Town.

OMG SO STUPID.
