Thingummies to do

1. Walkabout

Mr Fry put me to shame with his walking exploits. I need to go walk around and at least get a photo with something Christmassy. OH, and Mr Fry has now left my fair city to go to LA, probably to hang with Mr Laurie, which is nice.

2. Cheap Ass Christmas

Last year I mailed all my old college friend mix tapes for Christmas.

This year, they're getting drop.io mix tapes in their inbox stockings! Less litter, no postage, and ridiculous cover art made by me. I think it's win-win. Anyway, I need to finalize those tapes and upload them today.

3. Packing

At Thanksgiving time, I ended up tossing some jeans and a sweatshirt into a bag at the last minute and forgetting my toothpaste, my comb, my socks, my eyeglass case and pretty much everything one needs to survive. Not so this time! I will be in DC for 2 solid weeks (O.o) so I will start packing now to make Friday morning less harried. I need to bring some wintertime reading material with me. I have dozens and dozens of books I have been meaning to read and this will finally give me the time to do that.

Here are my top 10 choices. I think I can bring 2. What would you bring? Choose 2; preference will be given to the more slim volumes that take up less space unless you tell me otherwise. Now, I haven't read any of these so any help would be most appreciated.

[Poll #1315022]

Off I go to shower and dress. It's a pretty mild day out, I think!

YOU SHOULD READ REVENGE, ASSUMING I EVER GET MY HEAD OUT OF MY ASS LONG ENOUGH TO MAIL IT. :)

Hey, do you, by any chance, read XKCD? Because the title of #2 reminded me of this one. :D

*snerk*

I've found myself doing it a lot since I read that comic. It always makes me smile. :)
