Ha ha, I think if I had the opportunity to talk to someone from the 30's, I wouldn't be able to resist telling them that the world was in fact run by machine overlords. Traffic? Run by overlords. Car crashes? Just thinning the population! That horrible newfangled music? Written (and sung!) by robots! Video games? Oh, well, how else are Our Masters going to figure out who's worthy of getting their brains uploaded.
