'Nother Book Up Fer Grabz
Jan. 2nd, 2009 11:07 pmI started reading David Sedaris's Naked today, and I'm almost done! What a quick and fun read. (First edition paperback, Back Bay, I believe a former imprint of Little, Brown. Under 300 pages.)
The other Sedarises (Sedari?) are so, so funny. And David is so, so great. Oh geez. How come I'd never picked up one of his books before? I've listened to several of his audiobooks, which I can also recommend.
Anyhoo, this copy of Naked is pretty beat up. I've carted it from Boston and the cover's a little crinkled and a tiny amount of front pages have come unglued from their binding.
Since I don't think I can swap this book on Swaptree.com in such a state, I was wondering if anyone would want it? It's still totally readable! I swear. I just can't stand to throw it away, you know? How's about the first person who comments can get the hook-up?
BTW, I'm not, like, clearing house in preparation for a sudden death or anything. I just like sharing books and stuff.
