1. Remember how I told you I was gonna volunteer with SAGE, the something something something GAY ELDERS? Well, guess what I'm going to do? They put together a team of writers to take down the elders' oral histories and we're gonna write a book! GUYS. Everyone else on the writing team is 1) a dude, 2) way older, and 3) way more accomplished. One dude writes for Forbes. One dude used to edit poetry anthologies. GUYS I AM A BIT INTIMIDATED BY THEIR AWESOME. But I'll get a chance to work with expert hands, and that will be cool and also the project is going to be cool too.

2. What the fuck TIME does Obama get inaugurated? I mean, what time EST does his hand land on the fucking Bible? Because I want to at least watch it on TV if I can't be in DC. Anyone know?

3. Also, have you read bertiebwriting's What Aunt Dahlia Saw series? Um, if you like teh Jooster, you should skeedaddle over there and read it.

4. I just finished watching disc 1 of Doctor Who season one (not the one with the scarf, the other one) thanks to brewsternorth! I don't know exactly what to think! I think it's def. cool. But is Rose perving on the Doctor? Is he perving on her? And Charles Dickens, wtf!? By the way, in American time travel narratives, we are required by law to include Mark Twain. (I'm looking at you, Quantum Leap!) I assume you have a similar rule about Dickens. Or Doyle.

5. WHY DOES NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGE HOW AWESOME TOP HATS CAN BE?

No. 3 -- I read the first part, and ADORED it. I always love stories that offer an observer's point of view or includes a significant character "finding out." Anyway, I can't wait to catch up with the rest, and the seeming embarrassment of riches piling up over at indeedsir lately. (Including, I think, some offerings of your own.)
