First of all, did you know Hugh Laurie appeared in the music video for Annie Lennox's Walking on Broken Glass?

[livejournal.com profile] recrudescence sent me some fabulous stuff from Korea! There are stickers and stationary and socks and all sorts of goodies. It's all covered in beautiful Korean and smiley things! My favorite, though, is this heaping good times Engrish:

Thumbs up for stating it bluntly! Thank you so much for the presents, Yvi.

Also, I have TV land presents. I watched 24 turn from "hmmmm" to "LULZ YUS" in two hours.

Also, I am loving the Top Gear episodes I'm finding via Google Video. I watched the 24-hour race, and now I shall watch the Africa special.

Oh, cars. You + bromance = awesome.

Also, have you heard? The Discovery Channel is doing a documentary on Teh Gheys. One part of me snarkily wants to know if that means camera guys will be following me around while I do my grocery shopping and pay my bills. The other part of me acknowledges that many people mistakenly believe a lot of falsehoods about gay people and this would, if done well, set the record straight (fufufufu). But won't it also be incredibly boring if that's the case?

Uh, I knew about the vid. From the day on I saw it, I turned up the volume whenever the song came up in the radio. Annie definitely chose the wrong guy in the story, she´s a great singer though Apparently they casted him because for this because of his role in Blackadder 3. He was in another one which is pretty cool: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=9DVvrcFi4M0

Hurrah for presents!

I didn't know about the video. Cool. :) Or the documentary. I guess I get it. Some people have no idea. I guess this would help quite a bit if it's represented properly.

I KNEW THERE WAS A REASON I ADORED THIS SONG.

That's freaking hilarious and for some reason adorable. "Okay, Hugh, we're looking for a man who can wear make up and tights, look inquisitive and then try to neck with Annie Lenox." "Well, I'm your man!"

I will now giggle stupidly whenever I hear this song.

Also, LAWL at the Kate Bush video. OH NOES THE KATE BUSH MONSTER GOT HUGH! XD

Oh, early-ninties-commercials-and-music-videos-Hugh-Laurie. &hearts

For the win indeed. XD

I suppose the potentially interesting thing about the Discovery documentary could be that Teh Ghey around the world are revealed to be just as diverse as any other human population. Which, yes, duh, but could make for a good programme.

Hugh Laurie in a Kate Bush video? My word, my fandoms operate in a very small, well-connected world.

And what's all this about a Discovery documentary? Let's just stick with shows like Queer As Folk and The L Word so the normals can think we all operate in small, sex-crazed, partner-trading circles! Yes! Or... maybe not.
