  • 13:25 Shouldn't be fiddling with the fic while in the office, but I'm on lunch break, dash it! #
  • 18:10 Have successfully rescued P&P&Z from post office! :D #
  • 19:00 We're gonna need a montage! (Montage!) We need to condense the narration a bit and show everyone what's going on! (Montaaaaage!) #
  • 20:28 Done watching Top Gear, the British Leyland episode. I do love it when James wins challenges. He gets so bouncy. #
  • 20:41 It's pouring rain outside. And it's raining in my story. This makes me pleased. #
  • 21:17 List of hackneyed lines I'm not allowed to use under pain of death: "How could you say that to me?" "Don't you dare speak to me that way." #
  • 21:35 I think my next LULZ Writing Advice essay should be about confidence and self-motivation, now that I think of it. #
  • 21:48 Ohhhhh, final scene in progress. I'm getting all nervous about how it should end up. #
  • 22:25 OK, that's a good place to stop tonight. 21K, and here's the last line coming atcha: #
  • 22:26 'I loved him, yes, but only because he's a part of you.' #

Oh goodness, I need an advice essay on confidence and self-motivation, do I ever. Especially because I am here posting a comment instead of finishing my chapter.

From lots of people's tweets and postings, I get the feeling the confidence is the #1 problem facing fic writers today.

I find that to be true about a lot of non-fic authors as well. Lack of confidence makes you awkward with language, which makes for lame prose and dialogue. Of course, no one gets confident without actually writing first. I need to take this one to heart.

Your tweets are awesome, and I'm pretty much salivating for that fic, butbut... have you all stopped updating Do Something Awesome? I guess trying to fit something awesome into each week is a bit much... maybe it should be bi-weekly or monthly.

Or... maybe the fic is your awesome thing? :D

Well, though I continue to try to do awesome things on a regular basis, my co-bloggers have not been as, shall we say, diligent. *glowers at boys*

I think we did bite off more than we could chew. :[

Well, doing something extraordinary once a week when one is likely going to school or working full time is pretty difficile.

Also, your fic: totally should count for this week. ^_^; You started off so tame and have been getting progressively, ah, experimental. But manage to keep them IC.

You're like, magic or something.

Like a leprechaun.

Only, er, not.
