I had been looking forward to seeing a movie with [livejournal.com profile] kitstringer after work, but also dreading an impending headache. Weirdly, she got struck down with one too, so I came straight home and slept until, well, now. Ugh, now I'm all dazed and confused, and one should not write or attempt to do anything in such a state.

I WILL tell y'all that I've read a few chapters of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies today. And guys. It is not a letdown. It is the best book ever. More entertaining and joy-inducing than anything I've read in a long time. It's bliss to read, and I fully intend to finish it this weekend, after which I can lend it around. But everyone should buy it when/if they can. I WANT THIS BOOK TO SELL A BAJILLION COPIES.

Mmmmm, I didn't have any dinner, but I sort of don't want to eat since I had fast food for lunch. This post is boring.

I only mean to say, goodnight petals. As your nights wind down, mine starts I guess?

EDIT: I almost forgot my disturbing commute story!

On the way home today, I was sort of touched inappropriately for the first time on the subway. I had been preparing for this, and was ready to lay some smack down on gross dudes who like touching ladies on subways, but here's the twist: it was some crazy lady doing the inappropriate touching! I was packed into a very full train, and I stood off to the side where not a lot of people were standing, and then I realized it was thin there because some crazy lady was sitting down nearby with a big rolling cart that took up a lot of space. Anyway, I was wearing a dress today without stockings because the weather's been nice, and I had my back to the crazy woman and suddenly she leapt forward and brushed her hand up my leg. And she was wearing these velvet gloves, so it felt all weird. I have to say, I squeaked something awful and jumped about a mile high. I didn't know what to do: you can't just yell at a crazy person to not be crazy, after all. That doesn't work. So I tried to scoot down the car, but she kept yelling after me and I was afraid she'd try to grab at me again. Which is kind of silly that I was so scared of her, I guess. I mean, I don't think she could have hurt me, but I was just so freaked out.

Commutes turn us into awful people. :[
