Several things that are made of awesome.

1. Thank you to whomever recommended Kiss Kiss Bang Bang to feed my growing Robert Downey Jr. love. It was a hilariously fun movie. Just, every second was something good. Now, how hard am I gonna cry at The Soloist? DAMN HARD. It's such an unrepentant sob fest. Whatever! I'm all for tales of soppy bromance.
2. Heroes. Heroes. Heroes...what do I say about Heroes? These past few episodes have been so disappointing that I think I may have only enjoyed tonight's by comparison? I have no frame of reference anymore for whether it's a good show or not. There was some fighting and some guns and some Hiro antics. I THINK that makes a good episode. But whaddaIknow? I'm still a sap for watching the damn thing.
3. OH. OMG. I got tickets for the Daily Show in late January! I am so excited. T is gonna fly up just to go with me. SQUEE. His first question: "What do you wear to a Daily Show taping?" "Your 'Marry Me, Stewart' t-shirt, duh!"
4. I am writing my House and Jooster fics for Sweet Charity simultaneously, I guess. I write a chunk of one, and then the next day I go for the other. Usually I like to concentrate on one thing at a time, but this sort of fragmented thinking seems to help in this case. You'll see what I mean when you see the fics. They're both structured in a piecemeal kind of way. I hope everyone gets some pleasure out of them. It's been great fun getting back into writing with them.
5. Cap slash. Cap, Cap, Cap. Though I have no time for writing Cap/Iron Man fic right now because of my charitable obligations, I have been amassing very stupid plot bunnies for unleashing upon the poor populace. I just love superheroes so much, and I love sex so much, and putting the two together is like, well, it's like discovering electricity. Nothing's really the same after, is it? I would really like to do a retelling of Cap's awakening in the 21st Century because I love the whole "man out of time" thing. It's like time travel! But in reverse! I also wanna play up that weird balance in his character where he's old-fashioned but at the same time believes so strongly in the ideals of American equality that he goes out of his way to befriend people he's not used to. Can you IMAGINE the first Pride March he sees? *rolls around in a big pile of fallen HoYay leaves*
